“Sing to the Lord! Give praise to the Lord! He rescues the life of the needy from the hands of the wicked” (Jeremiah 20:13). We have numerous reasons to worship our amazing God. Every good gift originates in him. What a joy it is to be together to recognize his blessings! Thank you for prioritizing worship. We rejoice in God and in your presence today.
We rejoice with Austin Herrera in his decision to put Christ on in baptism last Sunday. It was a big step for this young man—one he made with the help of his mother, Michelle. Please pray for him as he begins his journey in Christ. What a happy day!
We are also happy to welcome a new family to Levy—Brian and Toni Rose. They have been worshipping with us for a while and are now ready to get plugged into our work and ministries. Please personally greet them and pray for them.
Thanks to everyone who volunteered and worked to make our Vacation Bible School a great success and blessing to all. Your work is greatly appreciated!
Some of our teens are currently in Nashville, TN at Lipscomb University’s Impact and others will be going later this week. Please pray for them as they travel.
Ken Brown is looking for volunteers to work within the Levy moving ministry. This ministry responds whenever there is a need for good hearts and strong backs to help Levy members move. If you can help, please see Ken.
This Wednesday night our summer series resumes. Our guest presenter is Kevin Youngblood who is a professor in the College of Bible and Ministry at Harding University in Searcy, AR. His topic is “When a Bad Deal Makes Good Sense” based out of our daily Bible reading texts. Come and join us as we study “Thy Word!”
This week we have a mission team going to Haiti. I remain so grateful for the mission heart so evident in the Levy family. Not only pray for God to watch over the travel of this team, but also for him to use them in mighty ways to bless people in that country with the grace and truth of Christ.
Be intentional this week in sharing your faith! Ask God to specifically bring to you opportunities to do so—then be ever aware when he does!
I love you church!
